Curriculum Vitae
Dr Aurica Goleanu graduated in 1981 in Chem. Eng. from the Polytechnic Institute,
Timisoara, Romania, specialising in the Technology of Silicates and Oxide Compounds.
She then joined the porcelain factory S.C. Apulum S.A. in Alba Iulia, where she
became head of Technical Development / Laboratory Development in 1990, responsible
for technical design, research and development activity.
She gained her doctorate in Chemical Engineering in 2000 and was awarded a diploma
as national expert in general management and consulting in industrial management in 2002.
In addition, she is involved in research in the field of ceramics at "1 Decembrie 1918"
University (Systemic Archaeology Institute ), where she had previously taught as
a senior lecturer (1992 - 1995) and since 2007 she is carrying on the research activity at
the Research and Development Institute for Refractories and Ceramic Products - CCPPR,
in Alba Iulia, Romania.
She has published and lectured widely and is a vice-president of the Romanian Ceramic Society
and a member of the European Ceramic Society and other international scientific organisations
